Baosteel Participates in Project of Qinghai Salt Lake Haina PVC
OREANDA-NEWS. July 18, 2012. Baosteel has held a groundbreaking ceremony for calcium carbide devices incorporated carbon material drying project with annual output of 350,000 tons among Qinghai Salt Lake Haina PVC integrated program by EPC. This is another demonstration project for Baosteel engineering to strengthen the social market expansion, reported the press-centre of Baosteel.
The most major characteristic of integrated project of Qinghai Salt Lake Haina PVC is the full use of limestone, Salt Lake and other natural resources. With a serious of scientific method and process route, the project forms a production line of polyvinyl chloride, cement and other chemical and building materials. Also, through bidding process, Baosteel engineering undertakes three EPC tasks, including calcium carbide plant design, vertical gas burning lime kiln engineering contractor and calcium carbide devices incorporated drying of wood charcoal kiln in the first phase of the construction.With the successful start of 350,000 tons of calcium carbide devices incorporated carbon material drying project, it creates conditions for the Salt Lake Haina program to achieve production targets during the year.
Baosteel Engineering, Engineering Technology Department, Smelting Project Division is responsible for the implementation of the project, and has broadly communicated with owners, equipment manufacturers, and erection company before construction. The adjustment and optimization of the process route has laid a solid foundation for the project to start, which also won the consensus praise from the owners and other aspects.
