OREANDA-NEWS. July 18, 2012. Estonian Air offers for its Travel Class passengers a possibility to pre-order food on its flights. The new Estonian Air pre-order concept includes delicious meals from light snacks to steaks, such as Caesar salad with chicken, pork tenderloin with herb butter, pancakes and sandwiches, while different drink and snack combos are also available, reported the press-centre of Estonian Air.

The pre-order menu selection varies according to the flight destination and time. Passengers can pre-order delicious meals no later than in 36 hours before the departure time.

This opportunity can also be used to surprise loved ones, a friend or a colleague by ordering a glass of champagne or a cake for him or her.

“The overall trend is that customers are looking more ways to tailor the service for themselves onboard. Not all the customers have the same taste and thus it is important for airlines to find ways to give customers options what to eat onboard,” said Rauno Parras, the CCO of Estonian Air.

Estonian Air, Estonia’s national carrier, flies currently to 24 destinations in Europe, Scandinavia and in CIS. In spring 2012, the airline opened new destinations such as Helsinki, Riga, Jyvaskyla, Hannover, Vienna, Joensuu, Kajaani, and Tbilisi. On June 9th, Estonian Air opened new seasonal route between Tallinn and Venice.
