OREANDA-NEWS. July 17, 2012. PT Pertamina (Persero) again launches Mobile SPBU (Mobile Fuel Station) for distribution of non-subsidized fuel for vehicles owned by government, state-owned enterprises, local-government-owned enterprises, and mining and plantation industry. Direktor for Marketing and Trading of Pertamina, Hanung Budya, inaugurated five more SPBU Mobiles at Terminal BBM Pontianak. They are serving West Kalimantan area, reported the press-centre of PT Pertamina.

SPBU Mobiles with the capacity of 5,000-8,000 liter of diesel fuel are equiped with current meter, product pump, and nozzle. They are expected to offer solution for companies that are not entitled to subsidized fuels. This is the actualization of Pertamina's commitment to carry the Government's direction to control the utilization of subsidized fuels.

"This launch is part of Pertamina's plan to operate around 70 units of SPBU Mobile in Kalimantan region for distributing fuels in mining and industrial areas," Hanung explained.

Up to the first semester of 2012, Pertamina targets to operate 65 SPBU Mobiles, spreading across Sumatera, Jakarta, West Java, Banten, Central Java, East Java, Bali, Nusa Tenggara, Kalimantan, and Sulawesi. The number will keep increasing because the demand for SPBU Mobile is expected to reach around 400-500 units across Indonesia.
