Chinese Company Discusses Investments in Renewable Energy in Moldova
OREANDA-NEWS. July 17, 2012. A Chinese company, Hanergy Europa, is interested to invest in the construction of power stations in Moldova. Chinese investors discussed the concerned subject at a today's meeting with representatives of the Investments Attraction and Export Promotion Organization (MIEPO) and the Agency for Energy Efficiency, according to the MIEPO press service.
Hanergy Europa is seeking potential Moldovan partners to start joint projects in renewable energy, such as wide-scale construction of solar and water power plants.
MIEPO informed the investors about Moldova's investment opportunities in the renewable energy sector. Officials of the above-mentioned Moldovan bodies unveiled the country's advantages in the field of renewable energy, while taking into account the access to the market of the Commonwealth of Independent States, EU, Central European Free Trade Agreement, the legislation and available natural resources.
