OREANDA-NEWS. July 16, 2012. Azerbaijan insurance company OJSC AtaSigorta has opened another 2 branches and 4 new representative offices.

The company reports that AtaSigorta’s bracnhes and representative offices have been opened in accord with development strategy as well as to develop activity in the countyr regions and fulfill new requirements of insurance legislation.

" The new branches have started their activity in Sumgait and Khachmaz and new representative offices in Goychay, Zagatala, Lenkoran and Shemakha cities. Thus, from 1 July 2012 total number of AtaSigorta’s bracnhes and representative offices has been brought to 8 units. In paralle, the company is carrying out work on expansion of insurance agents’ network ",- the report says.

For the first half of 2012 the company collected AZN 6.277 million of insurance premiums and paid AZN 1.289 million of compensations. AtaSigorta has been operating at the insurance market since 2004 and carries out activity on 22 types of voluntary and 4 types of compulsory insurance. AtaSigorta is the founder and member of Compulsory Insurance Bureau. AtaSigorta which has AZN 5.6 million equity capital is part of AtaHolding group of companies.
