OREANDA-NEWS. July 16, 2012. Baosteel Group aims at producing more than 66 million tons of crude steel at home in 2015, of which 22 million tons will be falling under high quality steel made from its Shanghai operations.

Last year the groupбпs pig iron output was 39.29 million tons and crude steel output was 43.34 million tons.

Its Shanghai operations accounted for 19.47 million tons and 22.25 million tons respectively.
