EILog Makes Successful Debut in Canada
OREANDA-NEWS. July 16, 2012. EILog-06, a logging system independently designed and manufactured by CNPC Well Logging Company Limited, won confirmation from Canadian experts in a field test of open-hole logging in Saskatchewan, Canada, reported the press-centre of CNPC.
After a 20-day process of interpretation and comparison, the field test result showed that the data obtained by EILog-06 was exactly identical with the local response characteristics. This is a manifestation of the logging system's reliable performance.
To ensure successful application, the unconventional EILog unit has been customized for the geological conditions in Saskatchewan. Upon its arrival at the well site, engineers from both sides worked together on improving the unit's adaptiveness and completed the procedures of installation, acceptance and test logging.
