At present, the Ministry of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Communal Services is ready to compensate for the interest rate on mortgage loans in the social initiatives of the President for 30 thousand borrowers. This was stated by the Minister Anatoliy Blyznyuk, answering questions from reporters after a conference call with the regions of the country dedicated to the implementation of the mechanism of cheaper mortgages and prepare for the winter, which was held on Tuesday, July 10, at Government House.

According to the Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Communal Services, the determining factor for the program is the number of citizens who are completely determined with their participation. The Minister noted that a large number of people acquainted with the conditions, set aside a final decision. And because one of the main objectives is to strengthen the performers work to explain to citizens the full benefits of the new possibilities of solving the housing problem.

According to the latest amendments, compensation of interest is on co-financing by a citizen (the body of the loan and 3% per annum), and the recipient of the budget (local authority - 13% compensation rate) of monthly payment to a special current account of the borrower's bank account. Compared with the previous edition, the citizen is not necessary to seek out the full amount of the payment, and then expect compensation from the state. Thus it has been eliminated the cash gap, the existence of which deterred many people from making a decision about participation in the program.

Recall that on July 6, 2012 year 149 objects participate in the program of reduce the cost of mortgages for affordable housing to people in need of better housing, which is proposed to purchase 5967 flats. In general, 8400 people have expressed their desire to participate in the program and 63 contracts are concluded.
