OREANDA-NEWS. July 12, 2012. “Ulyanovskcement”, JSC, which is part of the “EUROCEMENT group” Holding summed up work results of the first six months of the year. During the reporting period, the plant has shown steady growth in all performance indicators.

During the first half of this year “Ulyanovskcement”, JSC produced 807 thousand tons of cement, which is 14% more in comparison with the same period last year. Last year the figure was just over 705 thousand tons.

Production of clinker during the reporting period amounted to 684 thousand tons, which is 18% more in comparison with the same period last year. Last year, the plant produced 581 thousand tons of clinker.

“Ulyanovskcement”, JSC for six months has successfully coped with the task of cement shipping. In total from January to June this year the company shipped 814 tons of cement to its consumers, which is 13% more in comparison with the same period last year, with shipments by road transport growing by 8% and by railroad – 15%.

The positive dynamics is observed in labor productivity as well. Therefore, during the six months of this year, the growth of production of cement per one employee was 9% in comparison with the same period last year.
