OREANDA-NEWS. July 12, 2012. "Rossiya Airlines” OJSC summarized a traditional charitable campaign for veterans of the Great Patriotic War dedicated to celebration of 67th Anniversary of the Victory. Over 1500 veterans benefited from the Company’s gift under the program.

In 2012, privileged flights to places of relaxation such as Sochi, Simferopol, Mineralniye Vody as well as to Moscow, Kaliningrad, and Kiev.

Under the terms of the charitable program, disabled GPW soldiers, GPW veterans, former fascism teenager prisoners, persons awarded with a medal "For Defense of Leningrad", persons awarded with a sign "Leningrad Citizen during Blockade", and those born on May 9, 1945, at the latest, were entitled to book an air ticket at a 100% discount of the fare and pay charges only. A discount of 10% was granted to passengers accompanying GPW veterans, 25% to those accompanying disabled GPW soldiers of Groups 1 and 2. Flights under discount air tickets could be undertaken to towns of Russia and CIS from May 3 through 12, 2011.

"Rossiya" has been carrying out a charitable campaign dedicated to the Victory Day for many years. Thanks to this program, veterans have an opportunity to visit areas of military glory, their friends and relatives, and travel for relaxation purposes every year.
