OREANDA-NEWS. July 12, 2012. The youth board of NPO Saturn has been rated the best union of working youth in the region. The celebration in honor of the winners of the regional round of the All-Russian contest of professional skill in the field of youth policy – 2012 and the first regional winners of the “Prism” award of excellence for recognition of personal achievements in matters of youth policy of Yaroslavl region took place on the Russian Youth Day.

The youth board has been deeply involved in the implementation of the NPO Saturn youth policy since 2001. Presently the NPO Saturn youth board consists of nineteen members, its activity (through designated leaders in each department in chare of working with the youth) spanning practically all the company’s employees under the age of 35. The work of the youth board is structured in the four main directions.

The innovations sector of the NPO Saturn youth board carries out projects focused on education and development of the active employees of the company, professional orientation of school kids, it also develops and implements ways of solving social and housing issues, introduces the necessary amendments and complements into the collective agreement and interacts with the trade unions. Preparation of the personnel reserve, firstly focusing on the active youth of the company, is also among the main engagements of this direction of the youth board’s activity.

The operations sector spanning the vast majority of the company’s employees involved in the development of aircraft, industrial and marine gas-turbine engines facilitates the processes of youth adaptation in the company, helps the most gifted young employees realize their potential through, among others, contests of professional excellence; it administers annual spring territory cleanup’s and youth construction campaigns.

The culture and sports sector is traditionally focused on the summer and winter youth gatherings, intelligence games, the Russian lapta tournaments, carpet-ball and other original competitions, creativity contests involving the youth, as well as on special youth parties and quizzes.

The information and monitoring sector is in charge of covering the activity of the NPO Saturn youth board in the corporate and municipal mass media. It ensures the feedback with the youth including the conducting of social polls. It is also in charge of developing layouts of printing products, videos, presentations dedicated to the youth board activity and the youth board insignia.

Alexey Molchanyuk, NPO Saturn HR director noted that “with every successfully conducted event grows the authority of the NPO Saturn youth board among the company’s employees as well as at the level of the municipal and regional organizations which is testified by the deservedly merited award bestowed to the NPO Saturn youth board by the Yaroslavl regional government”. The NPO Saturn youth board – is an all-time participant of the municipal contest defining the best company working with the youth, it is also an active participant of various sports, creativity and intellectual competitions at the municipal, regional and inter-regional levels, such as: “The Yarolsavl region governor’s cup of intelligence games”, “The Yaroslavl lapta tournament”, “Seliger 2008, 2010”, the Engineers of the future all-Russian forum, youth gatherings of the United engine corporation youth, the gatherings of the Rybinsk and Yaroslavl youth and many more.
