OREANDA-NEWS. July 13, 2012. Vice Prime Minister - Minister of Infrastructure Borys Kolesnikov believes that the attractiveness of the transport infrastructure should consider passengers - both foreign guests and Ukrainian. He stated this at the conference "Ukraine and Italy: Building together", which was held in Kyiv.

Borys Kolesnikov said that the preparation of Ukraine to Euro 2012 is a powerful incentive for large-scale reconstruction of road infrastructure, rail and air transport. "I can stress what was made by Ukraine in terms of infrastructure. As you know, in preparation for Euro-2012 Ukraine received five airports and four new runways, - Borys Kolesnikov said. - Also railways, roads were upgraded.

On Borys Kolesnikov’s conviction it should be take into account the opinion of foreigners, who came to our country in Euro 2012 in assessing the achievements of Ukraine in terms of infrastructure development. "I think we need to operate with the foreign assessment - and in general it is positive" - he said.
