OREANDA-NEWS. July 13, 2012. Unistream instant-issue Visa debit cards are available to customers sending or receiving money transfers via the Unistream network at any Uniastrum outlet in Moscow and the Moscow region. The card will soon be obtainable at the Bank’s offices in Novosibirsk, Rostov-on-Don, Perm, Berezniki, Stavropol, Kislovodsk, Pyatigorsk, Tyumen, Orenburg, Tomsk, Cheboksary, and Kursk, reported the press-centre of Uniastrum Bank.

The card functions as a special identifier for Unistream customers sending or receiving transfers at Uniastrum outlets, enabling them to save time by not having to complete forms and other related procedures. In order to receive a money transfer, cardholders need only inform the sender of their card number then withdraw the remitted amount at an ATM. Card accounts are available in rubles, dollars or euros. There is no annual card administration charge.

Unistream Visa cardholders also enjoy beneficial rates on cash withdrawals. At Uniastrum terminals they are free of charge, while withdrawals made at ATMs operated by banks belonging to the United Settlement System (USS), of which Uniastrum is a member, carry a reduced fee equal to only 0.5% for withdrawals starting at 50 rubles or 2 dollars or euros. USS currently unites over 90 banks and a total 17,500 terminals.

“Uniastrum’s latest initiative for Unistream customers helps save time and simplifies procedures when sending and receiving cash,” says Uniastrum Vice President Susanna Uzunyan. “The higher rate of interest earned on the account balance, preferential fees charged on withdrawals, and free administration combine to make the Unistream Visa Card not just practical, but also profitable.”
