OREANDA-NEWS. July 13, 2012. Sviaz-Bank and the BLIZKO money transfer system have completed, with close support from the Commercial Bank “Trade Finance Bank” (Limited Liability Company), a large-scale joint project to introduce money transfer services across the entire network of dealerships of the Comepay System, LLC, reported the press-centre of Sviaz-Bank.

Customers can now transfer money from over 38,000 BLIZKO terminals and Comepay cash handling points, 8,000 of which are set up at stores of the Magnit retail network.

“We now give most of our attention to expanding our network in Russia. Our joint project with Comepay achieves two key goals at a time – expanding significantly the network to which our project partner adds a large number of cash handling points to get a wide coverage and put money transfer services within easy reach of customers, and, the other goal, changing over to remote sales channels, or self-serve terminals. We expect, therefore, both BLIZKO and Comepay to have a much larger clientele and the BLIZKO system to get entrenched firmly on the market,” Andrei Laikov, head of the BLIZKO money transfer system, commented on the launch of the project.

Money can be collected at any transfer service point of the BLIZKO system in the country of destination. Transfers are made within a second. Still more important, the BLIZKO system rates are identical at all service points, including Comepay terminals, and the transfer charges will range from 1.3% to 2% of the amount transferred.

Comepay is an all-purpose payment system, a hardware-software combination, that accepts and credits payments for the services of cellphone communications operators, Internet providers, IPtelephony operators, pay television, and any other services.
