According to the magazine, Rosbank has become #5 among Russian banks by Tier 1 capital, surpassed only by the largest state financial institutions. Thus, Rosbank leads among private Russian banks as well as foreign banks' subsidiaries.

Rosbank is a Russian commercial bank that was founded in 1993. It is the 8th biggest bank in Russia by assets and is a member of the french group Sociйtй Gйnйrale. Its headquarters are in Moscow.

The Bank was founded in 1993 as the part of Mikhail Prokhorov and Vladimir Potanin's Interros group. In 2006-2008 the majority of its shares was bought by French bank Sociйtй Gйnйrale.
