Moldova, Georgia to Implement Joint Projects in Various Areas
OREANDA-NEWS. July 12, 2012. This arrangement was achieved during a meeting between the Premiers of Moldova and Georgia Vladimir Filat and Vano Merabishvili.
They stood for activization of bilateral relations and agreed to make use of the huge potential of cooperation and implement various economic, energy, agricultural, transport and tourism projects. The important role in this will be given to the Moldovan-Georgian Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation.
Vladimir Filat and Vano Merabishvili stood for the fastest completion of procedures to create this commission and organize its first sitting as soon as possible. At the meeting a proposal was put forward to consider an opportunity to launch the direct flight Chisinau- Tbilisi.
The premiers of Moldova and Georgia visited the free economic area in Rustavi near Tbilisi, where they were informed about its potential and opportunities.
