OREANDA-NEWS.  July 12, 2012. FAS held a meeting between Deputy Head of FAS Andrey Tsyganov and OECD Deputy Director on Finances Entrepreneurship Robert Lee. FAS also was represented by the Head of the Department for International Economic Cooperation, Lesya Davydova, and Deputy Head of Legal Department, Sergey Maksimov, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.        

The parties discussed further steps of cooperation in course of Russia's ascending OECD, specifics of enforcing the Federal Law “On the Procedures for Foreign Investments in Economic Entities of Strategic Importance for National Defence and State Security”, in particular, the issues of non-discrimination, transparency, commensurable regulation, accountability.

Summing up the meeting, the parties agreed about further cooperation towards devising OECD Review of Competition Policy in the Russian Federation.

“FAS is always ready to an open dialogue and cooperation with international organizations and experts. Direct communication encourages better understanding by our foreign colleagues of details of Russian law and enforcement”, pointed out Andrey Tsyganov.
