OREANDA-NEWS. July 11, 2012. KAMAZ is taking part in the Field Day’2012 exhibition which has opened today in the village of Novoye Alimovo (Aktanyshsky District, Tatarstan), demonstrating the KAMAZ-45144 double-way dump truck and the KAMAZ-43118 side vehicle with a crane-manipulator.

Experts of OJSC KAMAZ carefully keep track of the needs of the Russian agricultural industry, develop new models of equipment and update the company’s line of vehicles in order to improve their performance. The company is always ready to renew the fleet of agricultural equipment of Tatarstan and Russia and to offer new developments and modifications of serially manufactured vehicles.

The KAMAZ-45144 dump truck on the KAMAZ-65115 chassis is designed for transportation of various bulk construction, industrial and agricultural cargoes totally weighing over 13 t. The model is equipped with the Cummins 6 ISBe 300 diesel engine generating 300 hp. The model easily unloads cargoes even in tight working area and can be used as a part of a combination with a trailer weighing up to 13 t.

KAMAZ-43118 with the PALFINGER crane-manipulator is designed for a wide range of cargo handling and hauling, construction and assembling operations with various cargoes. One of its main advantages is a minimum of manual labor. This one-unit model is a worthy alternative to a usual truck-and-crane combination. The unique KAMAZ-43118 with the PALFINGER crane-manipulator can unload cargoes in hard-to-reach places and move them through previously mounted structures, as well as to unload cargoes into a body of a truck or a trailer standing next to it.

Besides, the 68901-99 gas powered dump truck with a three-way tipping trailer is demonstrated at the exhibition. This model is based on the KAMAZ-65115 chassis with a gas-powered engine generating 260 hp. The combination can transport not only grain, but also bulk construction and other agricultural cargoes. Natural gas vehicles (running on methane) are not inferior to diesel vehicles by technical characteristics, and even better by some other indicators.
