OREANDA-NEWS. July 11, 2012. “EUROCEMENT group” Holding decided to build ready mix concrete unit in the industrial area of “Maltsovsky Portlandcement”, JSC. “EUROBETON”, JSC, a structural unit of the “EUROCEMENT group” Holding, it is involved in the implementation of this project. Ready mix concrete unit “Stetter H1” with maximum capacity of 60 m3 of concrete per hour will be built on the territory of the transportation department of the plant. At the moment, the design works are in progress and equipment is being accepted. According to the “EUROBETON”, JSC plans, in July of this year the unit will begin supplying ready-mix concrete of various grades to regional consumers. It will operate as a new unit of “Maltsovsky Portlandcement”, JSC. The railroad department of the plant will be delivering required excipients, which are sand and gravel, to the storage facility located in the area. As for cement, it will be delivered by cement trucks. By the time of launch, a number of cement mixing trucks will also be delivered to the plant. The area of the plant will have its own technical control laboratory, steam generator, car wash, a warehouse for the storage of chemical additives, weighbridge control point with VA20-22 weights, and an open parking area for vehicles. It is planned that ready mix concrete unit will work in two shifts, and involve a number employees, in particular, 5 people per shift.

Currently “EUROCEMENT group” Holding, apart from sixteen cement plants, includes 10 concrete plants and ready-mix stations in the central part of Russia: in Moscow (5 plants), Belgorod, Stary Oskol, Lipetsk, Ekaterinburg and Podgorensky urban settlement  (Voronezh Region).

The total capacity of all plants is over 5 million cubic meters of concrete per year.
