OREANDA-NEWS. July 11, 2012. Shenzhou-9 capsule, with its crew of three, has been sent into the space as schedule, to dock with Tiangong-1 space lab. While focusing on the launching and docking mission of Shenzhou-9 capsule, people in steel industry noticed that TISCO’s product, with its unimpeachable advantages, was used in the capsule and its carrier rocket. TISCO’s product made a superb contribution to the successful launch of Shenzhou-9, and flied into the space with the capsule, reported the press-centre of TISCO.
 
It was not the first time that TISCO‘s stainless steel and pure iron had offered support to Shenzhou capsules. From the year of 2003 on, TISCO’s products had been favoured by China’s aerospace sector because of its special performance, and had been used in Shenzhou-5, Shenzhou-6, Shenzhou-7, Tiangong-1 and Shenzhou-8.
 
Products used in Shenzhou series are the coagulation of the effort of TISCO’s staff in R&D, production, QC and marketing. When the whole nation is immersed in the celebration of the successful launching of the rockets, few people knows the efforts TISCO staff has paid out. Spaceflight products are featured with small quantity, complicated specification, complex process and difficult production technology.
