OREANDA-NEWS. July 11, 2012. In June 2012, Estonian Air carries for the first time in its history 100,000 passengers per month. The number in the same period of 2011 was much lower – 58,000, reported the press-centre of Estonian Air.

"This is an all-time record. Also the load factor of our flights has increased significantly. It is 78% in this June whereas the same period in previous year we recorded a load factor of 66%," said Rauno Parras, the CCO of Estonian Air.

Estonian Air, Estonia’s national carrier, flies currently to 24 destinations in Europe, Scandinavia and in CIS. In spring 2012, the airline opened new destinations such as Helsinki, Riga, Jyvaskyla, Hannover, Vienna, Joensuu, Kajaani, and Tbilisi. On June 9th, Estonian Air opened new seasonal route between Tallinn and Venice.
