OREANDA-NEWS. July 10, 2012. The meeting of the Board of Directors of JSC  Irkutskenergo was held in Moscow. The following decisions were made:

Andrey Likhachev was elected Chairman of the Board of Directors of JSC  Irkutskenergo.

Members of the Strategy and Restructuring Committee of the Board of Directors of JSC  Irkutskenergo (Chairman - Evgeny Tikhonov) and the number of Committee members were approved.

Members of the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors of JSC  Irkutskenergo (Chairman - Igor Ageichev) were approved.

Members of the HR and Remuneration Committee of the Board of Directors of JSC  Irkutskenergo (Chairman - Andrey Likhachev) were approved.

Members of the Budget Committee of the Board of Directors of JSC  Irkutskenergo (Chairman - Vyacheslav Solomin) and the number of Committee members were approved.

The Committees include members of the Board of Directors of JSC  Irkutskenergo and managers of JSC  Irkutskenergo and JSC  INTER RAO UES. The Board Committees of JSC  Irkutskenergo ensure cooperation between the Board of Directors and the Company’s executive bodies in the following spheres: supervising the Company’s financial and business operations and increasing the efficiency of the Company’s budgeting process; developing the principles and criteria for remuneration and providing financial incentives to members of the Board of Directors, the Chairman the Board of Directors, members and the Chairman of the Management Board and members of the Audit Commission of the Company; developing and implementing the strategy for increasing the Company’s performance, as well as implementing its investment plans and programs.

Andrey Likhachev

Andrey Likhachev was born on October 13, 1965 in Grozny. He graduated from the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Control Processes of Saint Petersburg State University. He worked as engineer and mathematician at Electroavtomatika Leningrad Research and Production Association.

In 1990, A. Likhachev was elected deputy of Kirovsky district council of Saint Petersburg; he also was the chairman of the standing entrepreneurship commission. In 1992-1995, he was the head of Kirovskoye district agency of the Saint Petersburg City Property Management Committee (CPMC) and the chairman of CPMC. In 1995-1997, he was the head of Petrodvortsovy District administration in Saint Petersburg. From 1997, A. Likhachev was the first deputy chairman and in 1998-1999 the chairman of CPMC, member of the Government of Saint Petersburg and vice-governor. From October, 1999 to March, 2005, he held the position of the CEO of JSC  Lenenergo. From March, 2005 to September, 2006, he was the CEO of JSC  TGC-1. A. Likhachev was the deputy chairman of the Board of Directors of JSC  Bashenergo. He acted as advisor to the chairman of the Management Board of JSC  RZhD on the issues of power industry. In 2009-2010, he was the deputy chairman of the Board of Directors of JSC  Bashkirenergo. Since May, 2010, A. Likhachev has been the deputy CEO of En+ Group and the chairman of the Board of Directors of EuroSibEnergo PLC. Since April, 2011, he has been the CEO of JSC  Moscow United Energy Company (MOEK).
