OREANDA-NEWS. July 10, 2012. Tangible results in the project’s implementation have been achieved at the construction site of a new technological line for cement production with capacity of 6,000 tons of clinker per day in the Podgorensky urban settlement.

General construction works on the site have been fully completed. The scope of work for installation of various structures and equipment has been expanded. Finishing works and laying of engineering networks are carried out at a fast pace.

In July 2012 start-up and commission works in each of the departments (process units) of the new production line will be carried out in accordance with the schedule developed and approved previously.

An important step in assembly of the main technological equipment in the clinker burning department will be completion of installing the technological gas flue ducts in the dryers – raw material crushers – and their connection to the flue gas exhausters for delivery of abgases to a bagfilter for cleaning purposes. These operations are scheduled for July 3, 2012. Installation of the technological gas flue ducts is conducted by an unique Liebherr crane which load capacity is 750 tons.

Preparatory works on a technically complex object called “Unit for reception of additives from railroad, conveyor gallery and wagon tripper”, the underground part of which is located on a 12-meter mark below ground level, are almost completed. These works are carried out in difficult conditions in the aquifer soil.

On July 8, 2012 completion of works on technological connection to the “Cementnik” substation with power of 20 MW to the Federal Grid Company of the Unified Energy System of Russia lines with voltage supply of 220 kV is scheduled. This is done in order to connect all of the plant stations and carry out start-up and commission works.

On July 9, 2012 electrical works on the raw material crushers department and conveyor passageway from the quarry to the processing line will be completed. Upon completion of electrical works a trial run of the conveyor with length of 4.7 km and a two-roll raw material crusher BEDESCHI will be carried out.

In accordance with the approved plan, employees of the Voronezh branch of “EUROCEMENT group”, CJSC are being trained and certified to work at a new plant.

“After completing all the planned works, in August 2012 a general test run of the production line for cement production with capacity of 6,000 tons of clinker per day in the Podgorensky urban settlement will be held,” said Director General of the Voronezh branch of “EUROCEMENT group”, CJSC Oleg Lopatin.
