OREANDA-NEWS. July 10, 2012. BAIP, the company which specializes in critical IT infrastructure field, has enlarged its partner network. From now on BAIP will deliver cyber security consulting and critical IT systems security services based on Lumension® products, one of the global leaders in IT security solutions.

According to the manager of Information Security Group at BAIP Vilius Benetis, software products of Lumension® will enable us to support the needs of our clients for cyber security. „By using Lumension® Risk Manager we will be able to perform IT risk assessment and provide temporal and scope analytics and ensure compliance, risk management, and governance of security efforts“, - noticed V. Benetis.

According to him, BAIP has adapted Lumension® software for the Lithuanian legal environment in consideration of the requirements imposed by State Data Protection Inspectorate, Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Lithuania, LT ISO/IEC 27001 standard, COBIT 5 and other references as the most efficient means to ensure information security.

V. Benetis noted that Lumension® provides a spectrum of solutions. For instance, Lumension® Device Control enables the audit control, encryption and enforces usage policies for workstations’, servers’ removable devices such as the prohibition to use unencrypted USB devices or centralized audit of content placement in USB devices.
