OREANDA-NEWS. July 10, 2012. The 10th China International Circular Economy Achievement Expo was held in Qingdao International Convention and Exhibition Center. Nine technologyies on circular economy of TISCO caught wide attentions of the attendees, reported the press-centre of TISCO.
 
The aim of this Expo is to build a state-level platform of display, trade and cooperation for circular economy. The first session of the expo was held in 2008, and second was jointly held by National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Science and Technology and other 8 administrations, as well as the governments of Shandong province and Qingdao city.
 
The theme of this expo is “New Achievement in Circular Economy, New Drive in Green Development”, the purpose is to focus on the new requirements of “twelfth-five” circular economy development, insist on the green and low carbon development of region and enterprise, concentratively demonstrate the achievements of circular economy experimental units in key industryies and fields, popularize the typical mode and solution of “Reduction, Reusing and Recycling”. Exhibitiors from 20 provinces and more than 600 enterprises from home and abroad attend the expo. This is the second time for TISCO to attend the expo. TISCO also attended the previous session of the expo.
 
In recent years, taking the construction of circular economy industry chain as a main path, and taking the green process facility, green manufacturing, green product and green plant environment as fundamental carriers, TISCO has invested 8.2 billion Yuan in 87 projects of energy saving & emission cutting and circular economy, to keep a continious eco-protection and eco-development. Those project will additionally create a production value of 2.4 billion Yuan and a profit of 0.9 billion Yuan. TISCO has actualized the functional complementation to the city and harmonious co-existence with the city, become an unbanized steel plant which creates value, bears responsibility, owns respect and carry out green development. Circular economy and green economy have become the new development modes and new profit gain points of TISCO.
 
In this session of Expo, TISCO’s exhibition drew visitors’ attention by its splendid and novel design style. The nine circular economy technologies of TISCO --- technology of coke oven gas desulphurization and acid making, CDQ technology of coke oven battery, technology of coking coal CMC (coal moisture control), Acid-making technology of desulphurization and denitration of exhaust gas of sintering machine, dry dedusting technology of blast furnace gas, ferro-associated recycling technolgy, slag treatment technology, slag fertilizer technolgy, double-shaft lime kiln technology - also drew wide attention from the attendees. The enterprises representatives from Hebei province, Shandong province and oversea corporations also asked detailed information about the application of circular economy technology in TISCO.
