OREANDA-NEWS. July 10, 2012. The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) fined the minister of Samara region for Health Care and Social Development 15,000 Rubles for signing No. UF-0/1 Letter “On Counterfeit of Pharmaceutical Drugs” of 17th January 2011, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

On 29th September 2011, the FAS Commission found that a letter, issued by the Ministry of Samara region for Health Care and Social Development, violated Clauses 2 and 3 Part 1 Article 15 of the Federal Law “On Protection of Competition”. The letter resulted in unreasonable prevention of activities of economic entities for wholesale sales of pharmaceutical drugs in the Samara region and could have resulted in restricting competition on the market of wholesale sales of pharmaceutical drugs in the Samara region.
