OREANDA-NEWS.  July 10, 2012. Solemn awarding ceremony of winners’ of the I Republican contest for IT-projects “Let’s make dreams come true together!” took place in Astana, which was organized  by "KT Cloud Lab" under the aegis of FNP Samruk-Kazyna JSC at Kazakhtelecom JSC support, reported the press-centre of Kazakhtelecom.  
 
Applications were received from 27 April to 27 May 2012 on special site telecom21.kz. "KT Cloud Lab" was the first who implemented crowd sourcing ideas for efforts in search of VAS services and effective approaches for its realization in Kazakhstan. Lack of necessity in investments for infrastructure, costs for product promotion and personnel, separation of costs for technical product support are positive aspects of this approach for developer /participant of the contest.

Projects were evaluated by following criteria: readiness to realization, effectiveness from financial costs, idea innovation, possibility to use Kazakhtelecom JSC infrastructure. Last condition was necessary to realize idea in test mode. By words of Arman Dunbayev, Director General for KT Cloud Lab, "pilot" allows evaluating the project from point of view of service popularity. "Our task is to allow winner realizing his/her idea, and whether it will be launched to commercial exploitation, depend on users’ interest to it” –noted A.Dunbayev.

50 applications have been considered by the jury, and selected 27 only. Proposed ideas were connected with education, healthcare, transport, finances, social and leisure.

Rinat Khalikov with project “Gyr gyr” social network have got a chance to realize pilot project on Kazakhtelecom JSC infrastructure. By author’s idea, resource will allow creating educational and entertaining arrangements for wide circle of people. "It is possible to hold lectures by inviting specialists. Users will get on-lien consultations by various interesting for them issues", - said R.Khalikov.

Gifts and diplomas to the authors of best ideas have been awarded in the frames of IT-Friday #17.
