OREANDA-NEWS.  July 10, 2012. The workshop initiated by Trade House of PJSC “AutoKrAZ” was attended by Chief Designers and Experts of Russian machinery plants. Introduction of new emission standards in the territory of RF and KrAZ lineup extension served as prerequisites for conducting the Workshop, reported the press-centre of AutoKrAZ.   

Sergey Sazonov, General Director PJSC “AutoKrAZ”, has presented a report on company’s last achievements, business opportunities in Russian market and better interaction with Russian manufacturers of aftermarket equipment.

Engineering Director Sergey Dun’ spoke about guidance for lineup development and providing trucks with engines meeting Euro-4 emission standards.

Chief Designer Sergey Vasechek gave an up-close look at KrAZ truck design features, last models and prospects for further development of new lineup of cabovers and new generation of trucks provided with single piece sloped hood.

The workshop participants had an opportunity to visit production facilities and see the chassis lineup made by Kremenchug automobile plant. The visitors could see both mass production and newly designed models. The KrAZ Н30.1Е 8х6 chassis cabs and cabover chassis cab 6х6 aroused the most interest.

The participants highly appreciated the smooth running of the workshop and energetic efforts in building new models, meeting customers’ requirements and responding to market needs.

Igor Gnedenkov, Chief Designer of Elabuga automobile plant, said: “We have been working with “AutoKrAZ” since 2000. Currently we purchase about 20 chassis cabs per month, mainly, these are the KrAZ-63221 all-wheel drive and KrAZ-65053 6x4 chassis cabs. We are much interested in new KrAZ Н30.1Е chassis cab having better payload capacity that will enable us to extend our lineup and replace expensive BAZ chassis with Ukrainian chassis made by “AutoKrAZ”. We suppose to mount the АП 100 unit designed for oil well repair on the KrAZ Н30.1Е chassis. As for cabovers, we make little account of layout and prefer conventional KrAZ trucks, and a new model with single piece sloped hood stands particularly.

Our KrAZ-mounted units are valued chiefly by oilfield workers for chassis reliability, high cross-country ability, easy operation and serviceability. The workshop organized by Ukrainian manufacturer is necessary and informative event, we could get comprehensive answer to our questions“.
