OREANDA-NEWS. July 09, 2012. The Tula branch of Ingosstrakh Insurance Company concluded an insurance agreement for the museum complex Federal State Budgetary Cultural Institution “State Military, Historical and Natural Museum – Kulikovo Field Reserve, which includes a column monument to Dmitry Donskoy of the Red Hill museum and memorial complex.

The museum complex objects are insured against the risks of fire, lightning stroke, gas explosion, natural disasters, damage by water, burglary and robbery, illegal actions of third persons, falling of piloted flying objects or their debris on the insured property, runover of land vehicles, breakage of glass. The total insurance sum amounts to 10.4 mln. rubles. The agreement was concluded for a 1-year term.

The Kulikovo Field Reserve Museum is a memorial to the great exploit of Russian soldiers on September 8, 1380. A Temple of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin, made of stone, was erected to celebrate the 500-year anniversary of Kulikovo Battle in the village of Monastyrshchina, on the place where dead soldiers were buried. In 1850, a monument to Dmitry Donskoy was opened – a 30-meter monument designed by the architect A. P. Bryullov. The monuments of the reserve museum also include a Blessed Sergius of Radonezh Church, designed by A.V.Shchusev.
