OREANDA-NEWS. July 09, 2012. Sheremetyevo International Airport together with the Russian subsidiary of Aon brokerage company (Aon Rus LLC – Insurance Brokers) summarized the open tendering procedure for an insurer of the airport corporate motor pool. Ingosstrakh Insurance Company won the tender. The one-year agreement becomes valid on July, 09 2012.

Sheremetyevo Airport pays high attention to the organization of qualitative and effective insurance. When choosing an insurance partner the Sheremetyevo Aiport is expecting better-than-average quality, looks for reliability, professionalism, partner's reputation and compliance with high international standards.

Under the agreement Ingosstrakh Insurance Company will provide compulsory civil liability motor-vehicle insurance (OSAGO) to Sheremetyevo's 491 vehicles as well as voluntary vehicle insurance for 682 vehicles and hull insurance for another 111 vehicles. In addition to that insurance will be provided for airfield machinery (loading vehicles, sweepers, fire-trucks, cars, trucks, tractive vehicles, buses and airstairs). Hull insurance coverage (hijacking and damage) will exceed 406 mln rubles, liability limits for voluntary vehicle insurance (DGO) is about 597 mln rubles, liability limits for compulsory civil liability motor-vehicle insurance (OSAGO) – under the Federal Law No. 40.

Voluntary insurance agreement stipulates the option given to the Sheremetyevo Airport to independently choose a form of insurance settlement (repairs at authorized service centers; repairs at service centers chosen by the insurer; cash compensation) and to get indemnity exclusively of vehicle details depreciation by the "new-for-old" principle.

In addition, the agreement provides for a premium service package to the Sheremetyevo Airport, such as: the attendance of insurer's representative for inspections, personal agreement and claims settlement manager.
