OREANDA-NEWS. July 09, 2012. Sergey Postnov was invited to fill a new position of the Bank’s Vice President in charge of mortgage lending. This new appointment in the retail block of Bank Petrocommerce is expected to enhance the Bank’s positions in the mortgage market. Previously, Mr. Postnov was responsible for the same business area at Housing Finance Bank. At Bank Petrocommerce, Mr. Postnov will supervise development and implementation of the mortgage business programme.

"One of the key provisions of the current five-year development strategy is to boost the share of the retail segment in the Bank’s business, with mortgage lending being one of the core priorities, — says Pavel Neumyvakin, Executive Director of Bank Petrocommerce. — I am sure that Sergey Postnov and his team’s deep expertise and knowledge of the mortgage market will be able to make an important contribution to attaining this objective".

As of 01 June 2012, the Bank’s mortgage loan portfolio was RUR 5.3 bln (about 41% of total retail loans).

"Our plans are quite ambitious — the Bank intends to ensure considerable expansion of the mortgage portfolio and to rank among TOP 20 mortgage market operators by year-end by boosting our market share to 1.5%, — says Sergey Postnov. — We have already started to change the tactics of our market behaviour by focusing on the technological edge and automation of sales and data processing. This will allow us to cut business costs and to improve the quality of customer service. Besides, the Bank intends to diversify its sales channels by activating agency and partnership programmes, along with direct sales".

In the near future, the Bank also plans to launch an upgraded line-up of mortgage products.

"Our objective is to offer the market competitive mortgage conditions. By increasing the number of products and applying a flexible system of interest rates, we provide our clients with an option to select the product which meets most of their needs and capacities. Besides, the Bank eases requirements to borrowers in terms of period of employment, level of income, etc., which makes mortgage lending offered by Bank Petrocommerce even more accessible", — added Sergey Postnov.
