OREANDA-NEWS. July 06, 2012. Ural Airlines has summed up its operating results for April 2012. During the past month, the airline's passenger traffic equalled to 254,337, which is 61% more than in 2011. A total of 838,122 passengers used the carrier's services since the beginning of the year.

In April 2012, Ural Airlines has performed 2,044 flights (the figure has grown by 41% YOY since 2011). This includes 793 international flights, 782 domestic flights, and 469 flights to CIS countries. The actual passenger traffic in March equalled to 701,437 thousand passenger-kilometres, which is 71% higher than the 2011 level.

Ural Airlines has performed a total of 7,189 flights since the beginning of 2012, including 2,625 international flights, 2,917 domestic flights, and 1,647 flights to CIS countries. The Ural Airlines passenger traffic has grown by 66% in the course of the first four months of 2012. The majority of Ural Airlines passengers have travelled by international flights - 377,848; 295,349 passengers used the domestic flight services; 164,925 passengers departed to CIS countries with the air carrier's flights. The total Ural Airlines passenger traffic equalled to 2,311,736 thousand passenger-kilometres in the course of the first four months of 2012.
