RTEC Participated at Engineering Technologies- 2012 Forum
OREANDA-NEWS. July 06, 2012. Russian Telecom Equipment Company (RTEC) took part in the second international forum "Engineering Technologies-2012" which was held from June 27 to July 1 in Zhukovsky, Moscow region. The forum was supported by the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation, the Government of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation, the Government of Moscow and the government of the Moscow Region. The event was organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Federal Commission on Military and Technical Cooperation, and the State Corporation “Russian Technologies”. The purpose of the forum was to demonstrate the role and significance of machine-building in the implementation of national economic priorities.
At the exposition of “Ruselectronics” holding which is part of the “Russian Technologies”, RTEC demonstrated the results of joint venture Crossbeam RT, set up in 2011 by RTEC and Crossbeam Systems (USA) for the manufacturing of high-performance security platforms in Russia. At the exhibition booth the company demonstrated Crossbeam RT X-20 hardware which is a "network in a box" solution that makes it possible to install various applications (firewalls, Web security and database security tools, intrusion prevention systems, antivirus scanners, etc.) on a single platform. It helps customers to easily control, provision and scale enterprise-level security systems.
"It is important to note that Crossbeam RT X-Series is a "trusted" platform certified by FSB which makes it eligible to be used in any Russian government agency", noted Pavel Zhazhin, director general of Crossbeam RT. "The solution is widely used in private and government-owned cloud platforms, as well as in secure data channels."
