According to the press service of the National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technologies, this information is contained in a report of the Agency on the dynamics of markets of mobile communication, fixed telephony, Internet and data transmission, broadcasting and retranslation of audiovisual programs in Q1, 2012.

The document was drawn up by the Agency for the first time and based on quarterly statistical reports by electronic communication markets of Moldova and was published at the site of the Agency www.anrceti.md. Up to 2102 ANRCTI provided quarterly charts on thee markets of E-communication, namely mobile communication fixed telephony, internet access and data transmission.

Later it was decided to add the information by charts on markets of broadcasting and retranslation and by short quarterly analysis of the dynamics of abovementioned markets. According to the report, the growth in incomes in E-communication markets was determined chiefly by greater amounts of Internet access and data transmission sales and sales of mobile communication services. Incomes of these two markets increased by 15.6% and 1.7% to 186.85 mln. leis and 820.45 mln. leis respectively.

The sales volume in the fixed telephony market made up 384.7 mln. leis, being 76.4 mln. leis in the market of broadcasting and retranslation of audiovisual programms. The most essential share of incomes fell to mobile communication (55.9%), fixed telephony (26.2%) and interest access and data transmission (12.7%). An share of incomes from broadcasting and retranslation amounted to 5.2%. In Q1, 2012 the highest average revenue per user was registered in the Internet market and made up 140.43 leis.

This indicator was 108.48 leis, 73.06 leis and 51.12 leis in markets of fixed telephony, mobile communication and paid TV respectively . In Q,1, 2011 incomes of the sector of electronic communications made 6 bln. 220 mln. leis. They are projected to increase by 2% to 6.3-6.4 bln. leis in 2011.
