Sviaz-Bank Branch in Chelyabinsk Turns 20
OREANDA-NEWS. July 06, 2012. Sviaz-Bank’s branch in Chelyabinsk, one of the Bank’s earliest regional branches, turned 20. Today, it has around 260 businesses as its customers, including the Chelyabinsk Pipe Rolling Plant, OJSC, the FSUE Post of Russia, FSUE Instrument Making Plant (Pribor), Chelyabgipromez OJSC, Chelyabinskgazkom OJSC, and many other big industrial and food enterprises, small and medium-size businesses, and over 5,000 individuals, reported the press-centre of Sviaz-Bank.
Sviaz-Bank operates 11 customer service points in Chelyabinsk, ten of them located at post offices in each of the city’s districts to make financial services readily available to the public.
The Bank’s Chelyabinsk branch has been registering positive growth in its loan and deposit portfolios. At the moment, it has a balance value of over 4 billion rubles.
“Over its two decades in existence, Sviaz-Bank’s branch in Chelyabinsk has provided funds for hundreds of investment projects to replace aging equipment and build houses and roads,” says Vasily Yudin, the branch manager. “These projects have made the country wealthier and the region more competitive and financially steadier, and enabled the Bank’s business to develop evenly in the South Ural region.”
