OREANDA-NEWS. July 05, 2012. Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of FGC and Deputy General Director of IDGC Holding Andrey Murov has been appointed Acting General Director of IDGC.


On Saturday the annual General Meeting of Shareholders of IDGC Holding, JSC approved of transfer of the authorities of the Company Sole Executive Body to a management organization – Federal Grid Company of Unifies Energy System, JSC which transfer is to be effected since July 2, 2012. On behalf of IDGC the contract for the holding transfer to be managed by FGC is already signed.

According to the decision taken as of the moment, FGC will carryout management of IDGC Holding with the existing executive staff of the holding remaining in place except for the General Director position will be abolished. The management contract will be conclude for a year’s term with further prolongation option.

Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of FGC and Deputy General Director of IDGC Holding Andrey Murov has been appointed Acting General Director of IDGC. In the unified organizational structure he will be in charge of the investment package. However, according to a source closely related to IDGC management, the distribution grid complex within FGC will be supervised by another Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of the Company, Igor Khvalin. The FGC collocutor notes that the latter heads the Strategy Committee.
