OREANDA-NEWS.  July 05, 2012. Enterprise Estonia has launched a 1-million-euro line of grants for companies looking to open centers for testing technologies and product concepts.

The prototyping center program, funded directly by the state, is aimed at R&D institutions and science parks set up by the state and local government. Most of the funding must be spent on equipment and instruments.

The maximum grant is 350,000 euros and self-financing must be at least 10 percent of the project cost. Partnerships between universities and technology parks are permitted.

The deadline for applications is August 21.
