Uniastrum Rewards Star Staff with Holiday on Cyprus
OREANDA-NEWS. July 05, 2012. Sixteen Uniastrum employees working at the Bank’s offices in Moscow, the Moscow region, Saint Petersburg, Tula, Cheboksary, Barnaul, Chelyabinsk, Tomsk, Krasnodar, and Irkutsk have spent five days holidaying in Limassol, Cyprus’s second-biggest city and one of its finest resorts. The visit included a meeting with management staff from the Bank of Cyprus Group, as well as a trip to its head office. Uniastrum has now been part of the Group for over three years, reported the press-centre of Uniastrum.
Held late last year, Autumn Marathon sought to find the best salespersons in the Bank’s regional network, which today numbers 199 outlets stretching from Moscow to Vladivostok. The competition was open to all staff members, ranging from branch heads and managers of neighborhood banking centers to deputies, and sales personnel. All neighborhood centers and branches were divided into groups based on their headcount, location, as well as other criteria, with a view to ensuring fairness and equality for all employees.
Beside a holiday in Cyprus, the prizes also included Apple iPads, Apple iPhones, digital cameras, and restaurant vouchers. Overall, over seventy Uniastrum employees won prizes.
“Autumn Marathon is our first shot at holding a competition of this type, and we are delighted to see the wealth of positive feedback we’ve had from staff,” says Uniastrum President Gagik Zakaryan. “Our aim is to make sure that Uniastrum Bank is not just a team of professionals going about their business, but also a community of like-minds, each equally committed to achieving results on an individual and collective level. Competitions of this type are good for team spirit, while also infusing the Bank’s day-to-day activities with a sense of excitement. We are pleased at the results and plan to hold similar contests in the future.”
