OREANDA-NEWS. July 04, 2012. Belarus’ output of soft drinks and mineral water decreased in January-May 2012 in comparison with the level of January-May 2011, Belarus’ national statistic committee said in a report.

Mineral water output in January-May fell 9.1% on the year to 9.308 million dal, while the output of soft beverages edged down 0.1% to 17 million dal.

In May alone mineral water output totalled 2.473 million dal, down 4.5% on year and up 27% on month. The output of soft beverages totalled 5.4 million dal in May, up 11.2% on year and 50% on month.

Inventories of soft drinks were at 2.6 million decaliters as of June 1, 2012, 78.3% of the average monthly output, down 0.8% on month.

Inventories of mineral water were at 765,000 as of June 1, 2012, 41.1% of the average monthly output, down 0.5% on month.
