OREANDA-NEWS. July 04, 2012. Belarus has received a third, USD 440 million bailout tranche from the Eurasian Economic Community’s (EurAsEC) financial bailout fund led by Russia, a representative from National Bank of the Republic of Belarus said.

“The tranche has arrived and has been registered as foreign exchange and gold reserves,” he said.

Belarus, hit by a financial crisis in 2011, has agreed with the fund to receive a USD 3 billion stabilizing loan to be disbursed in several tranches from 2011 to 2013.

The fund has already disbursed USD 800 million and USD 440 million of the bailout.
