Eurasia IC Paid KZT34mn for Hurricane in Persian Gulf
OREANDA-NEWS. July 04, 2012. Eurasia Insurance Company paid KZT34m for the hurricane in Persian Gulf,-the press service of the company reports, reported the press-centre of Eurasia Insurance Company.
As a result of the strongest tropical cyclone Gonu in the Persian Gulf thousands of people were evacuated oil exports and shipping in the Gulf of Hormuz were paralyzed and large port Sohar was closed,- the press service of the company informed. Eurasia Insurance Company participated in the reinsurance programme for the damaged property during the hurricane.
As part of its share of liability, Eurasia made a claim payment of more than GBP125, 000 and reimbursed additional costs associated with settlement of damages. Recalling, earlier the Company paid more than KZT4m on this insured event.
