OREANDA-NEWS. July 04, 2012. Seminar for IT-sub-divisions of corporate sector, organized by Information systems direction held in Almaty. Over 20 companies participated in this seminar, reported the press-centre of Kazakhtelecom.    

The main goal of the seminar is presentation and demonstration of advantages of Data processing centers services (hereinafter referred to as DPC), provided on base of cloud calculations. By words of Nadezhda Glukhova, acting commercial director of Information systems direction (hereinafter referred to as ISD Kazakhtelecom JSC), cloud solutions – modern and rapidly developing trend in infocommunication sphere. "World experience of cloud technologies showed how companies can optimize costs for IT-infrastructure maintenance, at that to gradually increase productivity and efficacy of information technologies", - noted Nadezhada Glukhova within the seminar.

Seminar participants also could see "Microsoft Hosted Exchange", "Microsoft Hosted SharePoint", services launched within the Memo on cooperation in the sphere of cloud calculations development signed in June 2011 with Microsoft Company. Thus, creation of corporate portal on base of SharePoint platform secures increase of labor productivity and content control in Office. Portal solves internal document circulation problems, joint work, business processes management and control, reporting and analytics on level of department and all organization. At that, cloud solution secures access from any devices– stationary and PC, notebooks, mobile phones and other. Microsoft Hosted exchange also has the same resources.

Today Kazakhtelecom JSC has developed DPC network– 12 are located on the territory of republic, total number of clients composes 12 898. In 2011 share of Kazakhtelecom JSC on hosting market composed 50% (considering Kazakhstan hosting companies, which rent servers outside the Kazakhstan). ISD Kazakhtelecom JSC started to provide DPS services in 2008 in a year there is a possibility to render services through Parallels Systems Automation. The most popular service today is "Virtual hosting".
