OREANDA-NEWS. July 03, 2012. Transtroimekhanizatsiya (TSM, a Mostotrest subsidiary) has been awarded a contract for a RUB3.650 billion (including VAT) to build Stage 2 of the traffic interchange at the intersection of the Zelenograd access road with M-10 "Russia" Highway.

Avtodor State Company will act as the customer under the contract for this project designed by SoyuzDorProject, a road design and survey bureau. Avtodor’s supervisory board has approved the contract award. The construction is scheduled for completion in November 30, 2012.

In accordance with the approved project documentation, TSM will rebuild the split-level four-lane traffic interchange and build additional one- and two-lane exits. The total length of the exits will be 3.6 km. In addition, the project envisions construction of three flyovers with the length of 118 m, 127 m and 331 m, respectively. The upgraded traffic interchange will be an integral part of a Class 1b road with design speed of 120 km/h.

Stage 2 construction of the traffic interchange at the intersection of the Zelenograd access road and M-10 "Russia" Highway will increase the throughput capacity of the Zelenograd access road.
