OREANDA-NEWS. July 02, 2012. Representatives of NPO Saturn who took part in regional competition The best invention, useful model, industrial design, rationalization proposal, results of which were summarized by the Yaroslavl Region Government, headed the list of winners to basic nominations. According to the information of Industrial Policy Department of Yaroslavl region eight representatives of NPO Saturn became the competition laureates both with individual design and joint inventions.

Nomination for the best invention

I place took Roman Kazakov, Leading Process Engineer of the Chief Smith Department, together with the group of authors with the invention Method of Plastic Structure Formation of Material for Long Rough Parts and Device for its Realization;

II place took Vasily Bogdanov, Specialist of Design Department, Advanced development and experimental research of gas-turbine engines, and Alexey Dormidontov, Design Engineer of Compressor Design Department, with the invention Jet Engine Combustion Chamber.

Nomination for the best useful model

II place took Vladimir Gorbunov, Leading Engineer of After-sales service of industrial and naval gas-turbine engines, author of the useful model Rivets Pressing-off Device.

Nomination for the best rationalization proposal

I place took Alexander Danilkov, Head of Experimental Strength Department, author of the Rationalization proposal Change of Specimens Geometry for Determination of Material Mechanical Characteristics;

III place took a group of authors of rationalization proposal Introduction of High-temperature Processing of Melt at Melting-Cast moulding of P/N 1460400075, LPT blades, stg.2: Arthur Berestevich, Chief Metallurgist; Sergey Zhabrev, Process Engineer, Olga Kuranova, Head of Technological Bureau, Vladimir Malyarov, Senior Foreman of casting shop.
