OREANDA-NEWS. July 02, 2012. In May 2012 the passenger flow rate at Pulkovo Airport amounted to 965,908 people, which represents 16.4% increase against May 2011:

The international passenger flow rate to CIS and non-CIS countries for May 2012 amounted to 539,842 people which represents 15.5% increase against the number of passengers carried over the same period in 2011

The domestic passenger flow rate amounted to 426,066 people, which represents 17.4% increase against May 2011.

The number of takeoffs and landings for May 2012 increased by 11.3% and amounted to 10, 975 operations. The volume of the handled maximum takeoff weight was 364,575 tons; the increase as compared to the same period in 2011 came up to 11.9%.

Results for the First Five Months of 2012

At the end of the first five months of 2012 the passenger flow rate at Pulkovo Airport amounted to 3,666,943 people, which represents 18.6% increase against the same period in 2011:

The international passenger flow rate to CIS and non-CIS countries for the first five months of 2012 amounted to 1,884,308 people, which represents 25.1% increase against the number of passengers carried over the same period in 2011.

The domestic passenger flow rate amounted to 1, 782, 635 people, which represents 12.5% increase against the same period in 2011. The number of takeoffs and landings for the first five months of 2012 increased by 10.7% and amounted to 45,823 operations.

The volume of the handled maximum takeoff weight was 1, 498, 768 tons; the increase as compared to the same period in 2011 came up to12.7%.
