OREANDA-NEWS. July 02, 2012. This year ChTZ designed a set of mounted units for its tractors, operating in forestry sector of Federal Forestry Agency, which significantly expanded the scope of machines application.

Five renovated mounted units for forestry tractors are prepared to serial production.

1. Folding grubber is facilitated to uproot stumps with the diameter of 650mm. It can be transported on a trailer, which ensures fast delivery to and from the place of work. Fitted with noted equipment ChTZ tractors have successfully passed various field tests across several regions of the country.         

Grubber equipment can provide uprooting stumps with a diameter more than 50cm. ChTZ tractor demonstrating its capabilities.

2. Forest fireproof plough is used to create dividing ruts, barring the fire progression. It can be mounted both back and front sides of the tractor. This year a new forestry plough was presented at the annual Forest Forum in Moscow.

3. Brushcutter is a machine, also used for dividing ruts creation ruts clearance. Equipped with replaceable sharpened blades, brushcutter cuts the bushes of 100mm thick. Presently the machine is under field testing.

4. This year the work has been almost completed to provide ChTZ tractor with mulcher, which grinds wood into small chips and bushes, eliminating the problems with forestry waste disposal. The unit will be quite of use to energy industry, especially for the construction and maintenance of transmission lines.

Equipped with a heavy plough ChTZ tractor creates windbreaks, blocking the fire expansion.

5. The next step is production of track vehicles with wedge-shaped pusher (blade), which is supposed to create supporting lanes. It will prevent spreading of severe fires by paving the way through the slashing areas and road-blocks to deliver necessary equipment and machinery to rough territories.
