OREANDA-NEWS. July 02, 2012. In contrast with serial DET-400 the latest bulldozer model has got new plastic lining and renewed interior arrangement.

Bulldozer is equipped with 400 h.p. “Cumminz” engine. The undercarriage arrangement of Caterpillar production improves traction force, when new hydraulic system assures smooth motion and accurate steering. Waterproof power unit operates on alternate current. In addition, the joystick system, which controls the rigging equipment, sufficiently facilitates operator’s work.

Spare parts and components from leading producers make the new serial models more attractive for customers. Also renewed bulldozer is supposed to be used as ripper and pulling winch. Moreover it can get adjected with welding unit and other electric appliances. Thereof according to all the mentioned facilities a new "electric generating station" possibly might feed off even a small town.

After passing various field tests in tough conditions of low temperature regime, heavy ground and saturated terrain, DET-400M is planned to set up into serial production.
