OREANDA-NEWS. July 02, 2012. Hydromashservice, a subsidiary of HMS Group, signed another contract for the production and delivery of large number of pumps for Rostov nuclear power plant.

Pumping equipment will be manufactured by Nasosenergomash, another subsidiary of the Group, and is designed for the 3d and 4th power units under construction. The contract provides for the delivery of centrifugal pumping units of D type for the water treatment systems and cooling towers of the plant.

Rostov (Volgodonsk) nuclear power plant is the one of the largest energy provider in southern Russia. The plant supplies about 15% of annual power generation in the region.

Earlier this year the Group has already signed a contract for the delivery of pumping units of ATsNA type and feed pumps as well as pumps of KsVa type for the 4th unit of the Rostov NPP.
