OREANDA-NEWS.  July 02, 2012. This year, workers of Angor district of Surkhandarya region grew 6 thousand 686 hectares of wheat. 16 grain harvester combines were brought in order to reap the crop without losses in a short time.

6 teams organized to gather straw and 8 teams are busy with plowing the fields. At present, about a thousand acres of fields that are exempt from the crop and free from the stem of wheat were plowed.

According to the head of the farm “Alibobo” Rustam Julliyev, this year they have received 55 quintals of wheat yield. About 70 tons of wheat grown moreover the contractual obligations and it will remain at the disposal of the farm.

Improvement of land reclamation conditions and conducting timely, quality plowing of the fields that are exempt from the harvest are an important factor in increasing the productivity.
