OREANDA-NEWS. June 27, 2012. GMCS became a finalist at the 2012 international IBM Beacon Awards in the category “Outstanding innovations in business analysis”. GMCS was the sole Russian IBM partner who received a prize at the international competition.

The IBM Beacon Awards are prestigious and world-renown. They are awarded annually to a limited number of IBM business partners to recognize technological prowess and innovative solutions based on IBM products and services. The award winners are selected in various fields including hardware, programming and service solutions, solutions for middle-sized businesses, and products from independent software suppliers. This year more than 1,500,000 IBM partners from all across the world took part in the competition; prizes were awarded in 27 separate categories.

Evgeny Erofeev, the VRM Systems Department Director at GMCS, commented upon the event by saying that “we are proud of the fact that our acquired experience and expertise in business analysis was recognized at the highest international level.
